FAME is a network and research school within resource and fisheries management and economics connecting universities, research institutions and researchers. The purpose of FAME is to strengthen the research in the area by creating a forum in which senior economists and Ph.D. students can present intermediate results and extent their personal network. The main activities in FAME is to offer a comprehensive programme of Ph.D. courses on issues such as valuation, dynamic modelling, newer regulation theory and international trade policy. Additional workshops will deal with central topics such as sustainability, property rights and institutional changes and multiple and conflicting use of natural resources.
The aim is to promote all types of cooperation related to the management and economics. The workshops and course are open for all researchers and Ph.D. students.
