Description:
This course aims at updating Ph.D. students in state-of-the-art economic valuation techniques and benefit transfer methods. The course will familiarise the students with the latest applications of
economic valuation and benefit transfer methods, primarily within the fields of natural resource conservation and recreation.
The economic valuation techniques included in the programme cover both direct and indirect methods, namely revealed preferences (par example hedonic pricing and travel cost), contingent
valuation and choice experiments. The benefit transfer part will focus on cases and meta analysis experiments.

Participation:
The course is free of charge for anyone wishing to participate. Deadline for enrolment is 15. April. Travel and accommodation expenses are covered for a limited number of participants from the Nordic and Baltic countries by a grant from NorFa. Please notify us when you enrol.
