DESCRIPTION
It is controversial whether international trade enhances or degrades the global environment. The course aims at introducing to the Ph.D. students the recent developments in the linkages between trade, resources and environment and the role and interaction of trade and environmental policy. The course will familiarise the students with the latest applications of economic methods for the analysis of trade and the environment.
PARTICIPATION
The course is free of charge to anyone wishing to participate. Deadline for enrolment is 20 February 2003. Travel and accommodation expenses are covered for a limited number of participants from the Nordic and Baltic countries by a grant from NorFa. Please notify us when you enrol.
