Prof. Dr. Phil: Niels Steensgaard. Title: When the world became smaller – some considerations about the process of globalisation from the 1600s to the 1800s.

Niels Steensgaard is the world famous Danish historian, specialising in international trade and globalisation. His lecture about the roots of globalisation in the 16-18 centuries and international trade represents a substantial contribution to the understanding of the interplay betwen nature, resources and man in a global context.
